HB 125 -- Assault Crimes

This bill creates the crime of assault of an employee of a
Missouri sexual offender treatment center or the Department of
Corrections.  The crime is defined as attempting to kill or
knowingly causing or attempting to cause serious physical injury
to an employee when the employee is performing a duty imposed by
statute or administrative rule.  Assault of an employee of a
Missouri sexual offender treatment center or the department is a
felony punishable by imprisonment for not less than 10 and not
more than 20 years without probation or parole.
