HB 146 -- University Governing Boards

This bill requires that one of the nine members of the University
of Missouri Board of Curators with voting powers and one of the
seven voting members of the Truman State University and Southwest
Missouri State University boards of governors be a student,
beginning with the first appointment made after August 28, 2003.
The student will serve a two-year term or as long as the student
maintains full-time status.  Current law that permits a nonvoting
student representative to each board is not affected.
