HB 161 -- Massage Therapy

This bill provides a licensing exemption for out-of-state massage
therapists wishing to provide massage therapy services when
acting as part of emergency response teams working in conjunction
with disaster relief.

The bill further provides for a special events permit to
out-of-state licensed massage therapists wishing to provide
massage therapy services at special events held within this
state.

The State Board of Therapeutic Massage will grant the exemptions
and issue permits to those licensed massage therapists from
states where the licensing requirements are equivalent to those
in Missouri.
