HB 173 -- Missouri Southern State College

This bill changes the name of Missouri Southern State College to
Missouri Southern State University-Joplin.  Costs associated with
any name change must not be paid from state general revenue
funds.  The bill also changes the residency requirements for the
Missouri Southern board of regents.  Currently, the regents must
be residents of the district in which the college is located; the
bill extends the residency to a 60-mile radius of the district.
