HB 271 -- Public Employee Military Leave

Co-Sponsors: Merideth, Jetton, Ransdall, Holand, Bean

This bill requires that all public employees who engage in the
authorized performance of United States military service for more
than 15 days receive the difference between the employee's
regular gross wage and the sum of the employee's gross pay as a
member of the National Guard or United States military and the
allowances received that month for their service. If the
employee's monthly gross pay and allowances as a member of the
National Guard or United States military exceed the employee's
regular gross monthly wage, the employee will not receive a
payment.
