HB 343 -- Charter School Background Checks

Co-Sponsors:  Burnett, Dougherty, LeVota, Young

Currently, charter school employees must pass a criminal record
background check and child abuse registry check.  This bill
extends this requirement to corporate officers of the nonprofit
charter school corporation and members of the school governing
board.
