HB 360 -- Domestic Assault Co-Sponsors: Mayer, Lipke (157), Goodman, Johnson (47), Riback Wilson (25), Lowe, Jolly This bill decreases the penalty for domestic assault in the third degree from a class A misdemeanor to a class C misdemeanor, when the person knowingly puts a family or household member in apprehension of immediate physical injury. The bill also clarifies that convictions for assault in the third degree, when the victim is a family or household member, will count as a first or second conviction when determining whether the defendant has committed a third domestic assault, a class D felony.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
