HB 372 -- Regulation of Ephedrine

This bill requires any person or business who displays or sells
ephedrine products to store them behind a counter.  This
requirement does not apply to the sale of animal feed containing
ephedrine or dietary supplements containing naturally occurring
or herbal Ephedra or an extract of Ephedra.

The bill also exempts any person or business from penalty who can
document the establishment of an employee training program that
provides information to employees concerning the provisions of
the bill.

Any person or business who violates the provisions of the bill
will be guilty of a class A misdemeanor.
