HB 386 -- Collisions with Deer

Co-Sponsors:  Pearce, Deeken, Sander, Guest, Townley

This bill requires the Department of Conservation to pay the
first $250 in repairs to motor vehicles that collide with deer.
The vehicle owner must provide clear evidence that the damage was
caused by a collision with a deer and that the vehicle was being
legally operated at the time of the collision.
