HB 428 -- County Ordinances and Fines

This bill requires the county counselor in counties which have
appointed one to prosecute violations of county rules,
regulations, and ordinances in the associate circuit court of the
county.  The rules, regulations, and ordinances that are
classified as a misdemeanor may be punishable by a fine not to
exceed $1,000 for each violation in lieu of the penalty
prescribed for a misdemeanor by state statute.  Any fine imposed
and collected must be deposited in the county general revenue
fund to be used for the cost of enforcement of county rules,
regulations, and ordinances.
