Summary of the Introduced Bill

HB 46 -- World War II Days of Remembrance

Co-Sponsors:  Richard, Ruestman, Wallace

This bill clarifies that Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day honors
those killed and wounded in Japanese attacks on the Phillippines
and the South Pacific on December 7, 1941, and adds a requirement
that all public buildings must fly the United States and Missouri
flags at half-staff on May 8 (V-E Day), June 6 (D Day), and
September 2 (V-J Day), as well as December 7.
