HB 645 -- Inactive Licenses for Psychologists

This bill creates an inactive license status for licensed
psychologists.  Persons wishing to obtain an inactive license
must make application with the State Committee of Psychologists,
declaring their intention of not engaging in the professional
practice of psychology in this state.  Persons wishing to be
taken off inactive status and obtain a regular license to
practice psychology must make application with the committee, pay
all reactivation fees, and submit proof of current competency as
established by the committee.

The bill also exempts inactive license holders from all
continuing education requirements.
