HB 653 -- Criminal Records

This bill requires all law enforcement agencies to send a record
of every arrest for an alcohol-related or drug-related driving
offense to the State Highway Patrol within 15 days of the arrest.
Current law requires these records to be sent only when the
defendant is convicted and there is a final disposition of the
case.
