HB 709 -- Kansas City Police Officers

Co-Sponsors:  Brown, Dusenberg, Phillips, Ervin, Reinhart, Yates,

This bill removes the requirement that a Kansas City police
officer be a resident of the city for at least one year as a
condition of employment.  The bill also gives the Kansas City
Board of Police Commissioners sole authority to determine
conditions of employment for police officers.
