HB 70 -- Child Custody

Sponsor:  Crowell

This bill revises a provision pertaining to the modification of a
child custody decree.  Currently, the court can modify a child
custody decree upon the finding of new facts which have arisen or
were unknown to the court at the time of the original decree that
result in a change in the circumstances of the child or the
child's custodian.  The bill requires that this change in
circumstances be substantial and continuing.
