HB 388 -- GEOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS (Riback Wilson, 25)

This bill extends authority to develop geographic information
systems to St. Joseph, Columbia, Lee's Summit, and all first
classification counties without a charter form of government.
Under current law, only Springfield and Greene County have the
ability to develop geographical information systems and to charge
for the use of the systems.  Geographical information systems
link maps with other data about an area.

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds.
