SS#2 SS SCS HB 444 -- GAMING COMMISSION FUND

This bill changes the distribution of excess moneys in the Gaming
Commission Fund each year.

Under current law, excess moneys are distributed annually in
total as follows:  $3 million to the Veterans' Commission Capital
Improvement Trust Fund; $4.5 million to the Missouri College
Guarantee Fund; $3 million to the Missouri National Guard Trust
Fund; and $27 million to the Early Childhood Development,
Education and Care Fund.  Any funds remaining after all the
distributions are transferred to the Early Childhood Development,
Education and Care Fund.

Under the provisions of the bill, the total annual distribution
for each fund will be as follows:  $6 million to the Veterans'
Commission Capital Improvement Trust Fund; $5 million to the
Missouri College Guarantee Fund; $4 million to the Missouri
National Guard Trust Fund; and $28 million to the Early Childhood
Development, Education and Care Fund.  Any funds remaining after
all the distributions will be transferred to the Early Childhood
Development, Education and Care Fund.
