AN ACT

To amend chapter 207, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to case workers in the division of family services.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 207, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 207.065, to read as follows:

            207.065. All case workers employed by the division of family services, or its successor agency, who are assigned to or working in a specific county of this state shall not work in any other county of this state on a regular basis absent extenuating circumstances. For purposes of this section, "extenuating circumstances" includes but is not limited to conflicts of interest, temporary staff shortages, or excessive caseloads.
