AN ACT

To amend chapter 288, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to unemployment tax requirements of self-employed business owners.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 288, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 288.022, to read as follows:

            288.022. After December 31, 2003, no self-employed business owner who is the sole employee of the business shall be subject to any provision in this chapter.
