AN ACT

To amend chapter 33, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to contractor qualifications.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 33, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 33.757, to read as follows:

            33.757. The office of equal opportunity of the office of administration shall ensure that those vendors listed in its directory of businesses as certified in accordance with 1 CSR 10-17, or the applicable successor regulations promulgated by the office of administration, are qualified to perform the services and provide the commodities for which they are listed in the directory. The office of equal opportunity shall certify that each business has the ability, equipment, and facilities to provide the commodity or service for which they are listed and shall check at least two of the customer references supplied by the vendors.
