AN ACT

To amend chapter 51, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to compensation for additional duties of county clerks.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 51, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 51.283, to read as follows:

            51.283. Notwithstanding other provisions of any law to the contrary, in addition to all other duties prescribed by law, the county clerks in each county shall administer all laws relating to provisional ballot voting. For these additional duties, the county clerk in each county shall receive, upon approval by the county salary commission, additional compensation in the amount of seven thousand five hundred dollars annually. The compensation authorized in this subsection shall be in addition to all other compensation prescribed by law.
