REP. BRIAN MUNZLINGER

92nd General Assembly

 

Rep. Brian Munzlinger, a Republican, represents Clark, Knox, Lewis, Schuyler, Scotland and part of Marion and Adair counties (District 1) in the Missouri House of Representatives.  He was elected to the House in November 2002.

 

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Munzlinger is actively farming.

 

He has been awarded the Farmers Friend of the Year from the Lewis County Farm Bureau, Presidents Award and Most Valuable Member award from the Missouri Corn Growers Association, and the No-till Farmer of the Year from the Lewis County Soil and Water District.

 

Rep. Munzlinger is a member of the following organizations:  deacon and Sunday school teacher, Bunker Hill Christian Church; Missouri Farm Bureau; Missouri Corn Growers Association; Missouri Soybean Association; Missouri Cattlemen’s Association; Missouri Chamber of Commerce; NFIB; University of Missouri Alumni Association; advisory board, University of Missouri-Greenley Research Center; board of directors, Northeast Missouri Grain Processors Co-op (ethanol plant); and a 4-H shooting sports smallbore rifle shooting instructor.

 

A 1974 graduate of Canton R-V High School, Rep. Munzlinger received a bachelor of science in general agriculture and a teaching certificate in agriculture from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1978.

 

Born April 24, 1956, in Quincy, Ill., Rep. Munzlinger lives in Williamstown with his wife, Michele.  They have two children:  Clint and Lea.
