REP. SUSAN PHILLIPS
92nd General Assembly
Rep. Susan Phillips, a Republican, represents southern Platte County (District 32) in the Missouri House of Representatives.
Rep. Phillips was elected in August 1999 to
fulfill an un-expired term.
In addition to her legislative duties, Rep.
Phillips was employed by the federal government, Xerox Corporation and the
Johns-Manville Corporation. In 1978,
she co-founded a building maintenance company in Kansas City.
Rep. Phillips is a member of the following
organizations: Riverside Chamber of Commerce; Northland Regional Chamber of
Commerce; National Federation of Independent Business; Platte County Women's
Exchange; Platte Republican Association; Platte County Central Committee;
Platte County Federation of Republican Women; Western Missouri Shooter's
Alliance; and River of Life Church. She currently serves on the Park Hill
A+ Advisory Board; the Child Abuse and Neglect Task Force at Synergy Services
and is the Missouri chairperson with the American Legislative Exchange Council.
A graduate of Burlington High School in
Burlington, Colorado, Rep. Phillips attended Atlantic Airline School and Maple
Woods Community College.
Born June 18 in Burlington, Colo., Rep.
Phillips resides in Kansas City with her husband, Keith. They have three
children: Chris, Hannah and Asher.
