REP. MATT MUCKLER

92nd General Assembly

Rep. Matt Muckler, a Democrat, represents part of North St. Louis County (District 70) in the Missouri House of Representatives.  He was elected to the House in November 2002.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Muckler is the manager of River City Nutrition.  He previously worked as an assistant buyer for Famous-Barr.  Rep. Muckler served in the United States Army from 1989 to 1993 as a Russian Linguist.  He completed his Russian language training at the Defense Language Institute at the Presidio of Monterey, Calif.  Rep. Muckler served overseas for two and a half years in the Military Intelligence Corps.

A member of St. John and James Catholic Church, Rep. Muckler is chairman of the Ferguson TIF Commission.

Rep. Muckler’s father, Carl Muckler served in the Missouri House of Representatives from 1974 to 1980.

A 1989 graduate of McCluer North High School, Rep. Muckler received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from St. Louis University in 1998.

Born June 28, 1971 in St. Louis, Rep. Muckler lives in Ferguson with his wife, Debbie.  They have three children:  John, Clare and William.
