REP. MICHAEL SPRENG

92nd General Assembly

Rep. Michael Spreng, a Democrat, represents part of St. Louis County (District 76) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to his first term in November 2002.

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Spreng is a pipefitter with Local 562.

A member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Rep. Spreng is also a member of: North County Labor Legislative Club; AARP; former member, Governor’s Council on Aging; former member, City of Florissant Planning and Zoning Commission; Florissant Valley Chamber of Commerce; Florissant Open Democratic Club; president, Airport Democratic Club; Spanish Lake Democratic Club; St. Ferdinand Democratic Club and Northwest Democratic Club. Rep. Spreng is also an Eagle Scout.

A 1966 graduate of De Andreis Catholic High School, Rep. Spreng attended Florissant Valley Community College.

Born December 28, 1947 in St. Louis, Rep. Spreng continues to reside there. He has three children: Kimberly, Jeffrey and Briget.
