REP. LARRY CRAWFORD

92nd General Assembly

 

Rep. Larry Crawford, a Republican, represents Cooper and Moniteau counties and parts of Morgan and Pettis counties (District 117) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

 

He was elected to his fourth two-year term in 2002.  In addition to his legislative duties he owned and operated a small business in California from 1977 to 1998.

 

Rep. Crawford was elected as Moniteau County circuit clerk/recorder of deeds in 1992 and again in 1994 and served in that capacity until December 31, 1996.

 

His civic activities include membership in: Friendship Baptist Church; Moniteau County Historical Society; California Shooters Club; Lions Club; several chambers of commerce; National Federation of Independent Business; Missouri Farm Bureau; Missouri Cattlemen’s Association and a lifetime member of the NRA.

 

He has won numerous awards including:  Friend of Farm Bureau Award - 1998, 2000 and 2002; the Defender of Small Business Award and the Defender of Property Rights Award.

 

Rep. Crawford was born March 31, 1952, in California, Missouri and graduated from California R-I High School in 1970.  He and his wife, Donna, have six children and eight grandchildren.
