REP. ROY W. HOLAND

92nd General Assembly

 

Rep. Roy W. Holand, a Republican, represents part of Greene County (District 135) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

 

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Holand  is an orthopedic surgeon in Springfield.  He also served with the United States Army Reserve Medical Corps during Operation Desert Storm and several medical missions to Venezuela.

 

He is a member of the Cox and St. Johns Hospital staff, Springfield Chamber of Commerce, Neighborhood Association and the Vitae Society.  Rep. Holand attends Second Baptist Church. 

 

Rep. Holand received a bachelor of arts in 1962 from Jamestown College, North Dakota. He then completed his M.D. at the University of Texas-Southwest Medical School in 1966.

 

Born January 7, 1940, in North Dakota, Rep. Holand currently resides in Springfield with his wife, Gail.  They have four adult children.
