92nd General Assembly
Rep.
Bob Dixon, a Republican, represents the southeastern part of Greene County
(District 140) in the Missouri House of Representatives. He was elected to the
House in November 2002.
In
addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Dixon is relationship manager for
Heartland Payment Systems, a payroll and bankcard transaction processing
company.
Rep.
Dixon is a member of the following organizations: Rogersville, Springfield and Strafford Area Chambers of Commerce;
Springfield Hotel & Motel Association; James River Basin Partnership and
the North Springfield Betterment Association.
He serves on the board of trustees of The History Museum for Springfield-Greene
County and the board of directors of the Kiwanis Club of Springfield
North. Rep. Dixon is a past vice
president of Boyd Elementary PTA and has served as a parent representative on
the Springfield R-12 Schools Parent Advisory Council.
A
1987 graduate of Christian Schools of Springfield, Rep. Dixon attended
Southwest Missouri State University and received a bachelor of science degree
in business administration from Drury University in 1997.
Rep.
Dixon lives in Springfield with his wife, Amanda. They have three daughters:
Grace, Rose and Olivia. They are members of Solid Rock Assembly of God
Church, where Rep. Dixon also serves on the board.
