REP. DENNY J. MERIDETH, III

92nd General Assembly

 

Rep. Denny Merideth III, a Democrat, represents Pemiscot County, and parts of Dunklin and New Madrid counties (District 162) in the Missouri House of Representatives.

 

He was first elected to the House in a special election in 1997, and then re-elected in the general election of November 2002.

 

In addition to his legislative duties, Rep. Merideth is a farmer.  He also served in the U.S. Air Force from 1973-1995 as an F-15 pilot.

 

Rep. Merideth graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a bachelor of science degree in international affairs.  He also received a master's degree in management from Webster University.

 

Born March 15, 1951, Rep. Merideth currently resides in Caruthersville with his wife Heidi.  They have four children: Danica, Erin, Kristofer, and Denny IV.
