HB 5 -- Excursion Gaming Boats

This bill makes changes to excursion boat gaming laws.  The bill:

(1)  Removes the $500 loss limit per patron per cruise and allows
counties to reimpose loss limits subject to voter approval;

(2)  Increases the admission fee paid by excursion gaming boats
for each patron per cruise from $2 to $5; and

(3)  Increases the adjusted gross receipts gaming tax from 20% to
22%.

All revenue resulting from the increase in the admission fee will
be deposited in the Gaming Commission Fund.  The remaining
increased revenue will be deposited in the Gaming Proceeds for
Education Fund.
