HB 1102 -- Education Accountability Standards

Sponsor:  Wallace

This bill requires the alignment of the statewide assessment
system's performance standards to meet but not exceed those of
the National Assessment of Educational Progress by June 30, 2006.
The State Board of Education must also institute annual tests in
federally required subject areas and make other adjustments
necessary to conform to federal standards by that date.
