HB 1113 -- Manufactured Housing Titles

This bill provides that if a certificate of title for a
manufactured home issued in the names of two or more persons does
not designate that the persons hold their interests as tenants in
common, upon the death of one of the named persons, the title
passes to the surviving owners.  Conversely, if the certificate
of title designates that the persons named hold their interests
as tenants in common, upon the death of one of the named persons,
the title passes to the surviving owners and the personal
representative or successors of the deceased owner.  The bill
also sets out the requirements for obtaining a new certificate of
title under these circumstances.
