HB 1126 -- Detachment From Watershed Subdistricts

Currently after a watershed subdistrict has been organized and
the organization tax has been levied, any county in the
subdistrict not adopting the annual tax may detach from the
subdistrict upon majority approval of the qualified voters
residing within the subdistrict in the county.  This bill changes
the county detachment requirement to a majority approval of the
voters voting on the detachment within the subdistrict in the
county.
