HB 1137 -- A+ Schools Program

This bill changes the A+ Program from a tuition reimbursement
program to a loan repayment program for federal Stafford loans
used for books and tuition for certificate and associate degree
programs.  Repayment of loans is conditioned upon the student's
completion of a program within a stated time period.  If the
student does not complete the program within that period, the
student must use his or her own funds to repay the loan.
