HB 1228 -- Child Support Enforcement

This bill moves sections of Chapter 454, RSMo, dealing with child
support enforcement actions by the state to Chapter 650.
Currently, the Department of Social Services is responsible for
child support enforcement in Missouri.  The bill makes it the
responsibility of the Department of Public Safety.  It repeals
provisions of Chapter 454 that allowed the Division of Child
Support Enforcement to administratively modify child support
orders and secure liens against the property of delinquent child
support obligees.  The bill also makes technical and
intersectional reference changes.
