HB 1269 -- Statutory Revisions

Under current law, the General Assembly is required to provide
for the collating, indexing, printing, and binding of all session
laws and resolutions adopted by both houses.  This bill transfers
those duties to the Joint Committee on Legislative Research.
Because the bill also authorizes the production of the Revised
Statutes of Missouri in an electronic format, the number of
printed copies of session laws and revised statutes that are
required to be distributed without charge is reduced, and a
written request and format selection requirement is added for
some distributees.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
