HB 1315 -- Annual Report on Retired Certificated Teachers Sponsor: Dempsey This bill requires the State Board of Education to file an annual report with the General Assembly, beginning October 1, 2004, with information concerning the positions filled by retired certificated teachers who return to full-time teaching for up to two years without loss of benefits. The report requires information on the number of positions filled by district; the name, title, and salary or contract amount; and the amount of employer contributions. Districts are required to furnish to the state board copies of vacancy postings, verification of early retirement incentives, media solicitations on vacancies, total applicants for the vacancies, and the criteria and verification of the declaration of critical shortage.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
