HB 1368 -- Massage Therapists

This bill exempts the licensing requirements for massage
therapists licensed in other states who wish to provide services
in this state if their licensing requirements are equivalent to
those in this state, they are incidentally teaching massage
therapy, or they are providing services in conjunction with
disaster relief.

The bill requires persons from other states providing massage
therapy at special events to obtain a special events massage
therapy permit from the Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork
prior to providing services.

The bill also removes the requirement that massage therapists
display their license number on advertisements.
