HB 1530 -- Arrest Without Warrant

This bill allows law enforcement agencies to hold a suspect
arrested without a warrant for up to 24 hours before charging the
person with a crime.  Current law allows suspects to be held for
24 hours when arrested for a class A felony and for 20 hours for
lesser offenses.
