HB 1606 -- First Responder Training Requirements

This bill allows political subdivisions to provide
cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) re-certification for first
responders they employ through approved re-certification methods.
The re-certification must be conducted by any certified or
licensed health care provider, CPR instructor, or a professional
rescuer CPR instructor employed by the political subdivision.
Approved expenses incurred by a political subdivision are for the
costs of re-certification and exclude expenses incurred for the
costs of books, supplies, or other items.
