HB 1724 -- Fuel Storage

Under current law, Missouri pre-empts the regulation of various
fuels.  This bill allows Jackson County and political
subdivisions within the county to regulate the installation and
placement of fuel storage tanks with a 48,000 gallon or more
capacity.

The bill contains an emergency clause.
