HB 1729 -- Tax Credit for Certain Property Taxes

This bill provides that for all tax years beginning January 1,
2005, qualified taxpayers will be allowed a tax credit in an
amount equal to the increase in real or personal property taxes
on commercial production agricultural property owned by the
taxpayer.

The provisions of the bill will expire six years from the
effective date.
