HB 954 -- Higher Education Boards

This bill makes the appointment of the president and vice
president of the Coordinating Board for Higher Education a duty
of the Governor.  Currently, the officers are selected by the
board members.  The bill makes a similar change to the
appointment of the president and vice president of the governing
boards of the University of Missouri; Lincoln, Northwest Missouri
State, Southwest Missouri State, Southeast Missouri State,
Central Missouri State, and Missouri Southern State universities;
and Missouri Western and Harris-Stowe state colleges.
