HJR 32 -- Citizens' Commission on Compensation Sponsor: Seigfreid The constitution establishes a Citizens' Commission on Compensation for Elected Officials with procedures for recommending and setting the compensation of statewide elected officials, members of the General Assembly, and judges. This proposed constitutional amendment repeals the commission and all provisions relating to compensation of statewide elected officials and judges. It also requires that increases in compensation for members of the General Assembly, other than periodic uniform general cost-of-living increases or decreases, be approved by the voters in a general election.Copyright (c) Missouri House of Representatives
