HJR 58 -- Budget Control Fund

This proposed constitutional amendment provides that in any
fiscal year in which the state revenue exceeds the amount
appropriated by the General Assembly 50% will be transferred to
the Budget Control Fund up to a maximum of $500 million.  In any
fiscal year when the revenue growth is less than the projection
made by the Commissioner of the Office of Administration, the
General Assembly can appropriate moneys from the fund to cover
any shortfall.
