HB 1107 -- PROPERTY ADJACENT TO TRANSPORTATION DISTRICTS

This bill permits owners of property adjacent to transportation
districts to petition the court by unanimous petition to add
their property to the district.  Any property will be subject to
all projects, taxes, and special assessments in effect at the
time it is added.  The owners of the added property will be
allowed to vote at subsequent elections to fill vacancies on the
board and other issues.  The owners of the property added under
the bill will have one vote per acre.
