HB 1126 -- WATERSHED SUBDISTRICT DETACHMENTS

Currently, after a watershed subdistrict has been organized and
the organization tax has been levied, any county in the
subdistrict not adopting the annual tax may detach from the
subdistrict upon a majority approval of the qualified voters
residing within the subdistrict in the county.  This bill changes
the requirement to a majority approval of the voters voting on
the detachment within the subdistrict in the county.
