AN ACT
To repeal section 226.120, RSMo, and to enact in lieu thereof one new section relating to the state highways and transportation commission.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:
Section A. Section 226.120, RSMo, is repealed and one new section enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as section 226.120, to read as follows:
226.120. The [members of the commission] governor, shall [elect] designate a member of the commission as [chairman] chair and another vice [chairman] chair, each of whom shall hold such office for a term prescribed by the [commission] governor. Four members of the commission shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business and for the exercise of any of the powers or the discharge of any of the duties authorized or imposed by law. The commission shall meet at least once each month and at such other times, and at such places within the state, as the commission shall determine. The [chairman] chair or, in the event of his or her inability to act, the vice [chairman] chair may call special meetings of the commission upon notice to members.
