AN ACT

To amend chapter 307, RSMo, by adding thereto one new section relating to bicycle helmets.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the state of Missouri, as follows:

            Section A. Chapter 307, RSMo, is amended by adding thereto one new section, to be known as section 307.187, to read as follows:

            307.187. No person seventeen years of age or younger shall operate a bicycle on any property owned by a political subdivision of this state without a securely fastened safety helmet on his or her head.
