Summary of the Committee Version of the Bill

HB 410 -- HIGHWAY DESIGNATION

SPONSOR:  Flook

COMMITTEE ACTION:  Voted "do pass" by the Committee on
Transportation by a vote of 13 to 3.

This bill designates a portion of State Route H in Clay County as
the "Richard L. Harriman Highway."

FISCAL NOTE:  No impact on state funds in FY 2006, FY 2007, and
FY 2008.

PROPONENTS:  Supporters say that the bill is a great honor for
such a distinguished citizen of this area.

Testifying for the bill was Representative Flook.

OPPONENTS:  There was no opposition voiced to the committee.
